I am so happy to be your Geometry teacher this year and I am looking forward getting to know each one of you.
Let me tell you a little about me:
I was born in Chile, the closest country to Antarctica between the Andes and the Pacific Ocean in South America. I got my bachelors at the University of La Frontera, Temuco Chile with a major in High School Education and a minor in Mathematics. I am for that reason fluent in the Spanish language. Soon after graduating from college, my family and I moved to the US, in 1987. I dedicated my first years in USA raising my 2 daughters, learning English, and becoming part of my new community in Austin.
Some of my favorite hobbies are camping, traveling, gardening, spending time with family and reading. I have a strong faith and I pursue healthy spiritual happiness.
My first experience in Texas education was working for Eanes independent school district, west of Austin for over 9 years in various positions, and another 8 years teaching mathematics at the International High school in Austin, after that I taught PAP and regular geometry at Bastrop High School for two years and I had three successful years here at CRCA .
I am looking forward to have another excellent year.
